Athletes, coaches, officers and family with Tamaqua’s Raider Cross Country Junior Varsity and Varsity track teams held a banquet this evening at La Dolce Casa in Tamaqua.
During the event, athletes were recognized for various achievement and received trophies, awards, and other items.
In addition, awards were presented to a number of students. They included Victoria LaBar (Christopher P. Truskey Memorial Award), Sarah Maue (Anthony John Locascio Award), and Chelsea Frantz (Delrose Scholar Athlete Award).
7th grade athletes were Jimmy Akins, Ian Davis, Andrew Fiorilla, Francis Kabana, Dominick Shemwell and Harry Swinehart.
8th grade athletes were Casey Akins, Brianna Dumond, Logan Hartney, Charles Kabana, Lottie Mateyak, Christopher Osenbach and Ethan Turrano.
Freshmen were Kailyn Erbe, April Gerber, Sarah Maue, Britney Miller, Melanie Shimko, and Derian Stianche.
Sophomores were Kailee Carroll, Brad Clemson, Nathaniel Davidson, Zack Davidson, Abby Fiorilla, Janette Kabana, Isaac Miller, Arianna Ryan and Maizy Troxell.
Juniors were Genevieve Beck, Raymond Kinder, Adam Melnick, Alec Roseland, Monika Shimko, and Nicole Wasserleben.
Seniors were Chris Daynorowicz, Chelsea Frantz, Sage Frey, Melanie Kostecky, Victoria LaBar, Conner Miller, Joseph Nortavage and Andrew Tite.
