EVENING OF ECUMENICAL MUSIC HELD AT TAMAQUA COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER

An evening of ecumenical music, messages and fellowship was held on Sunday (August 9, 2015) at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center in Tamaqua.
Music was provided by the Blue Mountain Community Church Praise Band, a frequent presenter on the local American Cancer Society Telethon. The band is led by Pastor Jennifer Eckhart. In addition to performing, the band encouraged the audience to sing-along.
The band’s playlist included songs by Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Jason Gray and Paul Baloche among some more tradition hymns.
During the event, brief messages were offered by TAFFN representatives and members of the Tamaqua Area Ministerial Association.
Free ice cream was served following the program.
