TIDE INDUSTRIAL PARK IN HOMETOWN SEEKING NEW TENANT

Tamaqua Industrial Development Enterprises, TIDE, works to attract new businesses to the Greater Tamaqua area in northeastern Pennsylvania and to support existing companies to reach their greatest potential.
Situated close to Interstate 81, TIDE Industrial Park offers easy access to all major northeastern markets. Accessible by rail and served by two international and three regional airports, the TIDE Industrial Park is within 500 miles of forty percent of the nation’s population and 60 percent of Canadian residents. It is an ideal center for manufacturing or distribution.
The benefits of locating here include lower operating costs, tax and loan incentives, world-class development assistance and one of the finest workforces in the northeastern U.S.
TIDE officials state that they are nearly complete on lots 22-24 of the TIDE Industrial Park, located adjacent to the Hometown Commons Shopping Plaza. They added that they are ready for a tenant to take that last spot.
A recent story in the Times News newspaper states the newest TIDE tenant as Presto Division of Reynolds Consumer Group, headquartered in New Zealand. The group owns various plastics manufacturing firms in the U.S. and worldwide. About two months ago, Reynolds acquired TIDE park company, TransWestern Polymers. Presto joins TIDE businesses Fox Transportation, Gellner Industrial, Highwood USA, Silberline Manufacturing, Veolia Water North America-Central, Hy-Line North America and ELK Lighting. TIDE is seeking a single tenant for lots 22-24.
